17 October 2022 The results of Consulting Engineers South Africa’s (CESA’s) Bi-annual Economic and Capacity Survey (BECS) for the period January to June 2022 just released, indicates an improved outlook for 2022 but projections remain below 2% for 2023/24 on the back of higher lending rates dampening potential investment demand and slower consumer demand. Pressure remains on government to increase investment in infrastructure, up the pace of tender awards, reduce the number of tender cancellations and put measures in place to arrest the increasing ‘brain drain’ of the country’s technical expertise....

Minister of Finance Enoch Godongwana will headline the upcoming annual Infrastructure Indaba hosted by Consulting Engineers South Africa (CESA) on the 18th-19th August 2022 at the Indaba Hotel in Fourways. 24 June 2022. The 10th CESA Young Professionals Sustainability Imbizo (YP Imbizo) is set to take place at the Accolades Boutique Venue in Midrand on the 28th and 29th of June this year. This will be the first non-virtual event to be hosted by the CESA YPF since 2019, owing to the lockdown due to COVID-19.
