CEO Casian Dendere said, at the company\u2019s anniversary celebrations on 26 March, that it aims to become a formidable EPC\/EPCM organisation over the next few years.<\/p>\n<p>The company, which was founded in 2008 with an office in Midrand, now has its head office situated in Centurion and boasts a total of over 63 staff members working in various offices, including Mogalakwena, Rustenburg and one recently established in Secunda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe past 13 years, particularly the past year, has been privy to the South African economy experiencing significant economic strain thus impacting infrastructure development across various sectors as well as consumers. COENG has overcome these challenges and navigated these cycles based on the enthusiasm, determination and the will-power of our staff, as well as understanding that excellent service, coupled with our expertise, underpins our success and growth,\u201d Dendere added.<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s achievements over the past 13 years include the establishment of its Integrated Management System (IMS) in 2009, a partnership with Kenyuka\/RSV for the Anglo Platinum Waterval Smelter EPCM in 2009, obtaining a full EPCM\/EPC accreditation with Sasol in 2013, and the implementation of several food and beverage EPC projects.<\/p>\n<p>Further, he pointed out that skills development and training remained critical to growing South Africa\u2019s economy in these unprecedented times.<\/p>\n<p>As an advocate for learning and development, Dendere said: \u201cWhile we remain focused on empowering our employees internally, we also understand that we have a commitment and responsibility to also empower everyone around us.
