6 September 2022.<\/em> Linhleko Projects CEO Buang Moloto launched the Buang Moloto Foundation in Tlhabane, Rustenburg, on Wednesday, 31 August. Along with celebrating a women\u2019s month event for the Bambhanani Service Club for the Aged, Moloto handed over women\u2019s day gifts and shared the news of the foundation\u2019s launch.<\/p>\n

The event was honoured with an opening prayer from Reverend Tukisi, who encouraged more people to give their time and mobilise to benefit their immediate communities. Mme Mabel Moatshe directed the event program as Mme Mataboge from the Bambhanani Service Club for the Aged thanked all the guests for celebrating the event and their continued support in building stronger communities. The guests were left mesmerised by a powerful poem from Minah Molefe, who encouraged social cohesion and a need for stronger societal role models.<\/p>\n

Mme Sasa Pilane, Chairperson of the Bambhanani Service Club for the Aged, said, \u201cWe are not only here to celebrate women, but also launching the Buang Moloto Foundation, a birthchild of Linhleko Projects. Linhleko Projects have chosen to work with us because we are actively uplifting our community, not folding our hands, and waiting for handouts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thanking Moloto for launching the foundation and his continued support for the Bambhanani Service Club for the Aged, Mmamoruti Mphahlele said, \u201cwe worked with Moloto for a long time. It is encouraging to have people like him who are always willing to lend a helping hand to the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two keynote speakers also attended the women\u2019s month celebration and the launch of the Buang Moloto Foundation, Andi Kgaladi from URCSA Tlhabane Congregation and Primrose Bogatsu, Bojanala District Municipality Councillor.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are a shining light in the community and the glue that holds us together while your teachings positively impact the youth. I encourage the women to take great pride in their contribution. They should continue giving back while working with different organisations,\u201d said Kgaladi. While Bogatsu called for collaboration in \u201cfinding solutions to reduce alcohol abuse, drug use and other issues threatening the future of the youth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nametso Mogale from Linhleko Projects explained the purpose of the Buang Moloto Foundation \u201cthe foundation was established to help the needy, honour the elderly, uplift the youth and strengthen society.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moloto closed the event by addressing the guests, saying, \u201cwhen we established Linhleko Projects, we desired that it be a company that focuses on and redefines black excellence in mineral processing. One of our core values is that we are an organisation with a social conscience. We want to impact the societies where we operate. In line with what I consider my passion, we have founded Buang Moloto Foundation. Today we chose one of our beneficiaries, Bambhanani Service Club for the Aged in Tlhabane, a group of elderly women who have not retired from their social responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n
