9 December 2022<\/em><\/strong>: <\/strong>Peikko South Africa, part of the Peikko Group Corporation, has partnered with Stefanutti Stocks to develop an innovative design, as well as to manufacture and supply precast concrete products for a ventilation tunnel at a local platinum mine in South Africa.<\/p>\n

Peikko SA is the global forerunner in slim floor structures, wind energy applications and connection technology for precast and cast-in-situ applications. The company boasts a range of cast-in-situ solutions for foundations, slabs, walls, columns, etc.<\/p>\n

MD Daniel Petrov<\/strong> said that Peikko SA spent six months collaborating with engineers during the project’s design phase. \u201cProject work started earlier this year, and has been completed. The traditional way of cast-in-situ concrete would require over 100 people on site, whereas with Peikko’s solution, only 20 people are required on site to complete the job. Also, the traditional method of using concrete would take 12 to 14 months. However, with our cast-in-situ solutions, it \u00a0takes only five months, saving time and seven months’ worth of cost savings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Petrov adds that Peikko shares the same values as Stefanutti Stocks, which follows a comprehensive approach to the projects they take on. “I appreciate the way Stefanutti Stocks takes a holistic approach to every project.
